My name is Deborah Taylor, and I am a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, Certified Mindful Menopause Practitioner, Reiki Master and Trainer. I have also trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT), enabling me to draw on a range of evidence-based and holistic approaches to support my clients.
Before entering the therapy profession, I enjoyed a successful corporate career. However, in my mid-forties, after reflecting on my own health and wellbeing, I decided to follow a different path—one that aligned more closely with my passion for helping others. Throughout my career, I found great fulfilment in supporting, coaching, and mentoring people, and retraining as a therapist felt like a natural progression.
My own experience of menopause was particularly challenging and became a catalyst for further professional development. Having experienced first-hand the impact that hormonal changes can have on physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, I chose to specialise in supporting women through this important life transition. As a Certified Mindful Menopause Practitioner, I am passionate about helping women understand what they are experiencing, regain confidence, and navigate menopause with greater resilience and self-compassion.
I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where they can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and create positive change. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, stress, low confidence, life transitions, menopause-related difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, my aim is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of wellbeing.
I feel privileged to be part of each client's personal journey and am committed to offering professional, compassionate, and individualised support to help people live the life they want to live.

What to look for when you choosing a hypnotherapist
Please ensure that when you book an appointment to see a hypnotherapist that they have the right qualifications, and you feel comfortable with them. They should make you feel comfortable and look forward to the process.
They should also be registered with a professional organisation. If you are booking for your child or an vulnerable adult the hypnotherapist should have an enhanced DBS check and it is worth asking what experience they have with children.
